All I am asking for now is a way for the seeds to get mixed/scramble with the hash function. I took the rest of the day off because work was slow. Lucky for me school was a walk in the park and for work, I only had to work half the day. I just thought I would let you know of my thoughts and concerns about this. Some people have free time on there hands lol. I can just see a person putting out a plugin key generator that allows a person to type info in it and then change the random seed until it unlocks the plugin.
You did, but I would like to extend the function if you can. I am not saying you did not do a great job. Anyways, I really hope you implement something a little more confident. But all this to say I found out the input only accepts one cable attachment. and the same to the users setting key so that whatever ever the user typed in, the secret key and the username would be hashed together.
I was going to put a fixed value of a secret text to the rego name input for the generator.

I could have a whole new plugin with same customer info but with Random seed 2 it generates a whole brand new string of characters in instead of partial string change. Please add the random seed to change almost all bits so I can put multi strings together without it looking like the same serial for each. My main purpose also is to multi put strings together. This way even with the same customer, if I sell them another plugin, they just cant guess the few extra bits. Once again I may take it too far and I am sorry, but I think it would be also good to put another random seed into the mix that changes most characters of the whole string. Since the seed value only changes a few bits instead of most of the string, this makes it possible for someone if they wanted to, to down synthedit, generate a key under any username area, and then seed it out until it unlocks the plugin. However I see only one big issue with the seed value and with the key system in general that I personally don't like. If I want to change things up I could put more seeds in diff key modules. I understand wanting to keep the reg key system fairly simple. Hey Jeff, More on the subject and again thanks for all your hard work on this.
